The inspiration of our custom builds comes from the combination of Mike's unique imagination and over 100 years of
board racers, café bikes, choppers, bobbers, flat trackers, streamliners and anything else that looks fast,
Our designs are usually stripped down, clean, fast looking bikes with several to many parts fabricated or modified better
than the original (O.E.M.) parts. With tightly built motors and precisely tuned performance parts our bikes will deliver
fantastic useable power and reliability.

At J.H.M. the process for custom builds always starts with our customers' goals in mind. We start by listening, notes,
artwork, drafting, lists, research and so on…..Remember we are building a one-of-a-kind motorcycle but, the reward is worth
the wait. We spend the time needed to answer all of our customers' questions before and while building is ongoing.
We offer video and/or still images during and at the end of the build to help soothe customers' anticipation, J.H.M. feels
that it's a wonderful record of our experiences together. Once we've identified the bike of choice we design and plan a package
around the goals we've set. We then put together a comprehensive estimate for their entire projects parts, labor, tuning, paint etc…….
After that we take a deposit and begin the build. Payments are made as the project moves along. All projects billing
are based on time and materials. We work with our customers to keep our vision of their project on target and on budget through
communication, pictures and private or video visits in our shops as we create their bike. Custom builds take as long as they take.
Many factors can alter the physical time of an entire custom build. We are limited by parts availability, parts failure
and order changes along the way. Although on average six months seems to be a popular time frame these days with outstanding
techs, tools and of course the internet. We to ride and love motorcycles and hate waiting to ride but, remember our goal is to deliver a
complete motorcycle that exceeds our customers' expectations. J.H.M. not only builds motorcycles, we turn dreams into reality.
